Welcome to Can Julley, your home in the Catalan Pyrenees

If you need to remember only a word, it should be “julley”.
It means “Hello”, “Thank you”, “See you later” and “Goodbye” in Ladakhi, the language of Ladakh, the northest indian region lost in the Himalayas.
Ladakh is a region that we visited 10 years ago and where we fell in love with the friendly and open people. Each time we crossed someone on the streets, they would say Julleyyyyy!  with a huge smile!😄
When we think about our best experiences in the mountains, we think about this Julleeeeeey.

When we thought of naming our apartment in the Pyrenees (Taüll), it could not be other than CAN JULLEEEEEY!
We see Can Julley as our base camp and our goal is to be able to enjoy this valley, and that many others can enjoy it too, exploring the nature and mountains that surround us. It is a place of arrival after a day exploring, skiing or walking. A place where we want to be comfortable, safe and calm.

The flat

Can Julley is our base camp, our small flat in the beautiful town of Taüll. We have put and continue to put our love into accommodating it and making it more than a tourist apartment, a home for us and those who pass by, or will return.
It has 2 rooms and can welcome up to 4 people. Its living/dining room offers views of the mountains and is oriented southeast. Discover its characteristics.

The surroundings

The charming town of Taüll is on the borders of the Aigüestortes National Park and 10 minutes from the Boi-Taüll ski slopes. It is ideal to enjoy all year round, either in winter when the peaks are covered with snow or in other seasons to enjoy the blooming nature. At the same time, you can enjoy the Romanesque complex of Vall de Boi, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2000.

¡Julley! We are Cat y Pau!

Cat is Belgian and Pau is from Castellón, and after many years together and enjoying the mountains of the world, we found our magical place in the Vall de Boí.
Our goal is to be able to enjoy this valley, and that many others can enjoy it too, exploring the nature and mountains that surround us. “Can Julley” indicates that we welcome you to our base camp. We thank you for coming to discover its surroundings, respecting the nature and treating the home of Can Julley as if it were your own.
